In case you have not heard Hampton Hotels has an awesome contest going on right now. The Chain of Friends Sweepstakes grand prize is an entire hotel, yes one hundred rooms, for two nights! Is it even possible to imagine what kind of weekend stay it would be in a hotel with no strangers except for staff? In addition to the grand prize, Hampton is giving away 100 weekend stays daily for the winner and three of their friends. The sweepstakes is open to residents of the United States, DC, Canada (excluding Quebec), United Kingdom, and Mexico. Imagine hosting a hotel party in London or Cozumel, awe-inspiring isn’t it?
The Chain of Friends sweepstakes began 60 June 1, 2010 and ends at 11:59 CT on September 4, 2010 which means you still have time to enter! The Grand Prize winner will be chosen randomly by an independent judging agency on or about September 10, 2010 from the entire promotion period.
If I were to win the Hampton Chain of Friends Sweepstakes grand prize, I know exactly where I would go and whom I would invite too! My favorite place is Orlando Florida and very close to home. With one hundred rooms, I would invite my whole family, their kids, and grand kids too. The weekend would have to include a visit to at least one of the Disney or Universal Studios theme parks. The balance of our stay would include poolside parties, a themed dinner extravaganza, and plenty of tropical beverages, adult and virgin varieties! The possibilities are endless.
To give a quantity of first hand information, we stayed at the Hampton Hotel on South Kirkman Rd. a few years back. This Hampton Hotel is located just south of Universal Studios. My sister and her kids met the hubby and me in Orlando; oh, gosh we had a blast!
The staff was courteous and the rooms very clean. It was nice to find a complimentary breakfast offered each morning and the Cloud Nine bed package with crisp white sheets, down-like comforter, and both down and foam pillows was extremely comfy. All the guest rooms include microwaves, refrigerators, coffeemakers, irons, hair dryers, and cable TVs. In addition to those amenities, Hampton Inn offers free high speed internet and a complimentary scheduled shuttle service to Universal Studios and Walt Disney World.
The pool was nice and clean surrounded by a large sun deck. In fact, my sister stayed an extra day to relax before making the journey home. She lounged poolside while the kids enjoyed swimming.
