Yogurt ideas and $50 Safeway gift card giveaway(closed)

Strawberry Fiber One YogurtIn case you didn’t notice, I am a huge yogurt fan, always have been. When this Blog Spark showed up I just couldn’t resist the offer. I received a four pack of Fiber One Yogurt and a $50 Safeway gift card. Plus one lucky reader will also receive a $50 Safeway gift card. I’ll tell you more about that later, let’s talk yogurt!

There are so many good things about eating yogurt, I can’t begin to list them all. Here’s a few of my favorites: Did you know that you can substitute yogurt for sour cream and buttermilk, lowering the fat content of the dish? Need a super easy, yet impressive dessert? Whip up a beautiful Berry Parfait. Like granola? Top your Fiber One Yogurt with some homemade Granola for a super delicious snack. Kids need more fiber, right? Try  offering them a frozen yogurt pop. Enjoy creamy, fruit flavored snacks like I do? Fiber One Yogurt is available in a variety of flavors including, Strawberry, Peach, Vanilla and Key Lime Pie.

I think Fiber One yogurt has a great taste. I sampled the strawberry and the peach. Fiber One yogurt is very rich and creamy, much the same as Yoplait’s original yogurt. I did notice just a hint of the artificial sweetener however the rich and creamy texture made that an almost non existent factor. Don’t really know what to say about the fiber, they say it’s in there, but I couldn’t taste it. For a low calorie, fiber rich snack, I think Fiber One has the answer with this yogurt. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that Safeway family of stores has Fiber One four packs on sale til February 9th; purchase two 4-packs of Fiber One yogurt for only $4!

The Giveaway – Win one $50 Safeway gift card, good for purchases at the Safeway family of stores, including Safeway, Dominick’s, Tom Thumb, Randalls, Vons, Genuardi’s. Open to US residents. Giveaway ends Friday February 12th, midnight EST. One random winner will be chosen via random.org. Good luck!

I have yogurt usually on a daily basis. It does help to keep the digestive system in order.
I love vanilla flavor because then you can add other items such as granola or what not to the yogurt.
